Job Summary:



We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled

IT Support Technician

with 2-4 years of experience to provide first-level support to end-users across hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in IT systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:


Technical Support:



Provide

technical assistance and support

for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware (onsite and remote). Troubleshoot and resolve issues with

operating systems, printers, internet connectivity, email clients, and user applications

.

System Setup & Maintenance:



Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Assist in setting up new user accounts, email IDs, and required system access.

Network & Connectivity:



Assist in maintaining local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, VPN connections, and basic firewall troubleshooting. Coordinate with network administrators or ISPs to resolve network downtime issues.

Asset & Inventory Management:



Track and update IT inventory including hardware, software, and accessories. Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and system configurations.

Security & Compliance:



Ensure all systems are updated with the latest security patches and antivirus protection. Follow data protection and IT security protocols.

Documentation & Reporting:



Maintain logs of support requests and resolutions using IT ticketing systems. Prepare reports on frequently recurring issues and suggest improvements.

Requirements:



2-4 years

of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical assistance roles. Strong knowledge of

Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, basic networking, and common business software

. Familiarity with IT support tools such as

remote desktop, ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, or ServiceNow)

. Degree or diploma in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

. Certifications like

CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or ITIL Foundation

(preferred). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
