Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and proactive
L1 IT Support Engineer
to provide first-level technical support across office and manufacturing environments. The role involves handling day-to-day IT issues, supporting end users, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
Level 1 IT support
to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Troubleshoot and maintain
CCTV systems
, including camera access, connectivity, and recording issues
Manage
Active Directory (AD)
tasks such as user creation, password resets, access permissions, and group management
Assist with
DNS-related issues
and basic network troubleshooting
Support and maintain
Windows Server environments
, including user access and system monitoring
Configure and troubleshoot
VPN connections
to ensure secure remote access
Provide support for
business software applications
, ERP systems, email, and productivity tools
Diagnose and resolve
desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues
Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams with proper documentation
Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and basic security best practices
Ensure minimal downtime through timely response and effective troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience or hands-on exposure in
L1 IT / Help Desk / Technical Support
Working knowledge of
Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking
Familiarity with
CCTV systems, VPNs, DNS, and software application support
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of IT security and access control best practices
