IT Support Technician (Hardware & Networking)

Qualification:

Diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking with 1-3 years of working experience.

Age Group:

20 - 25 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Support Technician with a background in computer hardware and networking.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support, performing basic troubleshooting of hardware and network issues, and assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of security devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.) Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) Assist in the configuration and installation of hardware and software systems Monitor and support basic network infrastructure Provide technical support to end-users on-site or remotely Assist in managing and maintaining security devices (e.g., firewalls, antivirus systems, surveillance equipment) Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions for future reference Collaborate with senior IT staff for escalated issues and system upgrades

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches, cabling) Familiarity with common security devices and basic cybersecurity practices Good communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred:

Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and network issues Basic knowledge of security surveillance systems and endpoint protection tools.
