Job Overview :
This role is responsible for providing technical assistance to end users, resolving hardware and software issues, and supporting the day-to-day IT needs of the company. The IT Support employee helps maintain reliable systems, supports corporate applications, and ensures employees have the tools they need to perform their work effectively. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset are essential in this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide first-line (L1/L2) technical support via phone, email, chat, or in person.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Troubleshoot issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Support user account management in Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and other enterprise systems.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Maintain and update IT documentation, manuals, and knowledge base articles.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including laptop setup and access provisioning.
Manage IT assets, inventory updates, and equipment lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (or equivalent).
Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows/macOS operating systems.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Freshservice).
Experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and common business applications.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of cybersecurity basics and best practices
