IT Support Engineer (US Shift - EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) Hours)

Shift Timing:

08:30 AM to 05:30 PM EDT (Monday to Friday)

Work Mode:

On-site - Kodambakkam, Chennai

Job Summary:

Naethra Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for a proactive

IT Support Engineer

to provide

on-site technical support

during

US business hours (EDT timezone)

. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills with a

neutral or US accent

, strong hands-on experience in

system, network, and printer troubleshooting

, and basic exposure to

AWS Cloud

environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide

on-site IT support

during EDT business hours. Diagnose and resolve

desktop, laptop, network, and printer-related issues

. Troubleshoot

email configuration and connectivity issues

(Office 365/Gmail). Perform regular

system maintenance, updates, and user account administration

. Assist in

basic AWS operations

such as EC2, S3, and IAM management. Monitor system performance and escalate issues when required. Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and support activities. Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

2-4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles. Strong knowledge of

Windows OS

and basic

Linux administration

. Good understanding of

networking fundamentals

(LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls). Experience troubleshooting

printers, scanners, and other peripherals

. Basic exposure to

AWS Cloud services

(preferred). Excellent

English communication skills

(US accent preferred). Willingness to work during

US business hours (EDT timezone)

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Certifications such as

CompTIA A+, Network+

, or

AWS Cloud Practitioner

are a plus.
