to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide
first and second-level technical support
to end-users onsite or remotely.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise applications.
Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and security tools to ensure optimal performance.
Log and track service requests and incidents using the IT ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes (device setup, account creation, access permissions).
Collaborate with other IT staff to implement system upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
Create and maintain user guides, documentation, and IT procedures.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop).
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Customer-oriented with a positive, helpful attitude.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management tools.
