Job Description

We need specialist to be contracted (Fixed term hire) for network and infra optimisation. In addition to the cost optimisation JD, we will need to evaluate these parameters . We have an MD review this Friday and post that will have onboarding approvals.

• Network Performance Optimisation: Assess current network systems (LAN, WAN, wireless, etc.) to identify bottlenecks, latency, or underutilized resources; implement solutions to enhance speed, reliability, and capacity.

• Cost Analysis: Evaluate network-related expenses, including hardware, software licenses, cloud services, and vendor contracts, to pinpoint areas for savings.
• Resource Efficiency: Recommend and deploy strategies such as virtualization, cloud integration, or hardware consolidation to reduce costs and improve network efficiency.
• Technology Evaluation: Research and propose cost-effective tools, protocols, or emerging technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, open-source solutions) to replace outdated or expensive systems.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Use network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and cost trends; provide reports to management with actionable insights for budget planning.
• Security Optimisation: Ensure cost-saving measures maintain or improve network security, integrating affordable yet robust solutions like firewalls or encryption.
