Siemens Financial Services IT (SFS IT) is establishing a Tech Hub in India to enhance our digital capabilities and drive innovation. The Tech Hub will play a crucial role in supporting our global operations and ensuring business continuity. Hence we are looking to hire IT developers in India, to carry out development activites for critical IT applications used in SFS companies across the globe.
We are looking for: Senior Fullstack Developer (Java)
Responsibilities

• The IT department of Siemens Financial Services is seeking a Java developer to advance our technology modernization initiative.
• You will help update our legacy systems by implementing a contemporary technology stack that combines Java's back-end reliability with C++ capabilities.
• By integrating these technologies, you will improve digital service delivery, enhance security frameworks, and develop more functional financial platforms that comply with regulatory requirements.
• Your role supports our modernization roadmap, facilitating the delivery of responsive solutions while maintaining the stability needed in financial services.
• As a developer, you will contribute to Siemens Financial Services' technical progression, supporting our competitiveness in the digital financial marketplace.
• Develop Java-based applications.
• Integrate SAP systems.
• Migrate existing applications to Java technologies.
• Work on both front-end and back-end development activities.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with partners to capture and analyze requirements.

Skills and working experiences

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• experience in developing applications using Java based (e.g. J EE, Spring Boot, JEE)
• in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Basic knowledge and experience in SAP integrations
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• cloud technologies and infrastructure automation
• Experience with software architecture and design patterns.
• mandatory (at least B2 level)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others
• Work experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• C++ experience is a plus
• Relevant certifications in Java, cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, or related technologies are a plus.
