We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and ensure effective adherence to IT controls and processes for applications and services. Maintain compliance with governance processes and FIM requirements.
  • Engage in proactive planning of controls and service requirements, including Evergreening and capacity upgrades etc
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a contact or escalation point for tasks related to assigned services, collaborating with stakeholders and other functions to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders such as Service Owners, POD Team Members, Risk & Control Officers, SSP Leads, and Cyber Security groups to align objectives and ensure cohesive operations.
  • Regular reviews to the POD team, maintaining up-to-date service and application information through regular inventory tool reviews.
  • Preparing status reports on Key Control Indicator (KCI) metrics to share with management, offering insights into control adherence across all applications.
  • vulnerability management practices to assess, and mitigate security risks, ensuring the protection and resilience of all applications and systems.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Service Management or Infrastructure/Software support.
  • Extensive knowledge of ITIL methodologies, particularly in Service Level Management (SLM), Service Continuity, Information Security Management, Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
  • Good knowledge of IT technologies, their components, and operational environments. Proficiency in Windows, Linux, or databases such as Oracle.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues from other teams.
  • Understanding of the controls and processes implemented within the HSBC (optional)
  • Good to have ITIL or SRE certification.
