Job Title: Service Delivery Manager - BI

Location: Mumbai

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Service Delivery Manager - BI to oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery of analytics services across multiple business units. This role requires a strong understanding of data platforms, BI tools, stakeholder management, and SLA driven service models.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of BI services and ensure alignment with business goals. Manage stakeholder expectations across departments (product, operations, marketing, etc.). Oversee a team of BI developers to ensure on-time and quality delivery. Govern day-to-day operations related to dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting services. Define and track SLAs and KPIs, and ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the analytics service framework. Work closely with the project managers, infrastructure team, and security team to ensure availability, scalability, and compliance. Escalation management and resolution of delivery issues. Create documentation and standard operating procedures for repeatable analytics delivery processes.
Team Leadership & People Management

Lead and manage cross-functional teams comprising BI Developers and Analysts (20+ members). Oversee resource allocation, sprint planning, and capacity management. Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and performance coaching. Identify training needs and career development opportunities within the team.
Client Engagement & Communication

Serve as the primary liaison for all Service-related communication with clients. Conduct regular reviews, demos, and governance meetings with key stakeholders. Translate client requirements into actionable delivery roadmaps. Build long-term client relationships through trust and consistent value delivery.
Solutioning & Architecture Support

Collaborate with Solution Architects to validate data pipeline and BI architecture. Guide teams on data modelling, ETL workflows, and dashboard/reporting standards. Ensure best practices in data governance, quality, security, and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 9+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a service delivery role. Strong understanding of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) Experience with data warehousing, SQL, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Exposure to ETL processes and data governance Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex service portfolios. Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Certifications (preferred): ITIL, PMP, Azure Data Fundamentals, or other relevant data/cloud certifications.
Nice to Have:

Exposure to tools like JIRA, Zoho Projects, MS Project, or similar for tracking

Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per month
