Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Implement, monitor, and maintain server and network security measures. Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection. Conduct security audits and access control reviews to identify vulnerabilities. Monitor employee system usage to prevent security breaches and data leaks. Develop and enforce IT security policies and best practices. Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication protocols. Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and incident response readiness. Stay updated on latest cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in IT security, network administration, and server management. Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux server security, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS security frameworks. Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Wazuh, Graylog). Ability to monitor and analyze logs to detect anomalies. Strong understanding of data protection regulations. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

CompTIA Security+ / CySA+ Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
