We are looking for someone like this who can help us to:
ensure that all data exfiltration and data misplacement risks are understood, owned, managed and the right governance is applied
operate the relevant governance on behalf of the CISO Head of Data Protection
review, define and oversee all relevant key procedural controls (KPC) and operational KPIs
support the team leads in risk remediation, monitoring and closure of audit and risk items
build strong relationships with our Business Unit operational risk controllers, 2nd LOD and other Business & Group Technology stakeholders to proactively identify risks & issues, drive remediation activities and continuously improve our data protection processes and tools
perform ad-hoc analysis, deep dive investigations, risk assessments, controls testing and drive specific risk initiatives as required
provide review and challenge to our stakeholder on projects, new initiatives, business objectives, processes, risk events, incidents, controls, and/or monitoring
Your team
You will be working in the Cyber & Information Security Office team responsible for governance and advisory over data protection controls globally. The team brings together skillsets and background in all domains related to data protection, information security, risk and control management as well as secure information system design. You will be reporting into the lead of the data protection governance and advisory function.
Your expertise
You have:
profound experience (5 years +) in risk identification, mitigation, reporting and monitoring and governance frameworks, preferably in IT security and data protection domains
profound experience (10 years +) with the implementation of cybersecurity controls, IT security systems, policies and best practices in a regulated environment, preferably finance industry
profound experience in IT Security Management Systems and Security Standards, Enterprise Control Frameworks and Certifications such as IISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, CRI and MITRE
experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and can simplify the complex fundamental challenges to actionable results and leading decision-making meetings
experience in Client Data Confidentiality, EU General Data Protection, compliance and regulations. Experience in Threat Modelling, Third Party risk (e.g. SaaS), Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) and Data Discovery (scanning) is a plus

well structured, highly self-driven, very reliable and dedicated; high attention to detail, ability to handle and structure a significant number of dependencies and issues ensuring nothing is missed out
a result-oriented worker who takes ownership and sets priorities and is known for hitting deadlines
able to able to break down complex topics into actionable steps and drive process improvements and issue remediation
an excellent team worker and enabling leader
proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Excel for data analysis and MS PowerPoint for senior management slides)
