Role overview
We are hiring an experienced, target-driven IT Sales Executive to join our commercial team in Kanpur. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable success selling SaaS to enterprises or channel partners. Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with
email migration
and/or
email security
is a significant advantage.
Key responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for assigned accounts and territories.
Generate and qualify leads via outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, referral and partner channels.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with IT and security stakeholders.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline in CRM; forecast sales and meet monthly/quarterly targets.
Prepare commercial proposals, respond to RFPs and negotiate contracts with customers and resellers.
Collaborate with Product, Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and renewal.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings and pricing.
Travel to client sites as needed to develop relationships and close deals.
Targets & KPIs
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets (quota).
Pipeline coverage (e.g., 3x quota) and conversion metrics.
Revenue booked, average deal size and win rate.
Timely and accurate CRM updates and sales forecasting.
Required qualifications & skills
3-7 years of proven B2B SaaS sales experience (enterprise or mid-market).
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Comfortable engaging with technical buyers (IT, Security, Infrastructure).
CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar) and disciplined sales process orientation.
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field.
Fluency in English and Hindi.
Desirable (plus) skills -- will set you apart
Direct experience selling
email migration
services, email archiving or email backup solutions.
Familiarity with email security products (DMARC, DKIM, SPF, anti-phishing, secure gateway) or enterprise compliance/archiving requirements.
Channel / partner sales experience.
Experience with enterprise procurement and RFP processes.
