Key Responsibilities

1.

Lead Generation & Conversion



Proactively generate, qualify, and nurture leads from

Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn Sales Navigator

, and other platforms. Achieve a

minimum average ticket size of $5,000 per deal

with a monthly closure target of

$20,000-$25,000

.
2.

Client Acquisition & Sales Closure



Manage the

end-to-end sales cycle

: from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure. Apply

consultative selling techniques

to convert leads into long-term, high-value clients.
3.

Client Retention & Recurring Revenue



Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure recurring business. Ensure

zero client churn

through proactive account management, follow-ups, and tailored solutions.
4.

Technical Communication & Requirement Gathering



Communicate technical concepts (APIs, cloud infrastructure, SDLC, etc.) effectively to non-technical clients. Independently gather requirements without reliance on developers.
5.

Business Documentation & Scope Definition



Draft

Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

and scope documents covering functional and non-functional requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
6.

Client-to-Project Management Transition



Ensure

seamless handoff

of client expectations, requirements, and insights to project managers. Bridge communication between sales and delivery to ensure client satisfaction.
7.

Platform Proficiency & Compliance



Maintain expertise in

Upwork policies, bidding strategies, and best practices

. Optimize company profiles to maximize visibility and lead conversion.
8.

Professional Communication & Client Psychology



Exhibit

fluent written and verbal English skills

. Understand client psychology to craft tailored pitches, negotiate effectively, and set realistic expectations.
9.

Sales Metrics & Reporting



Track and report KPIs including conversion rates, closure timelines, and sales pipeline progress. Use

CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

to maintain transparency and align with organizational sales goals.

Requirements



Experience:

2-4 years in international sales (preferably US market) in the IT/software services domain.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), APIs, and cloud concepts.

Tools:

Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Freelancer.

Skills:

Strong negotiation, presentation, and business documentation skills.

Mindset:

Target-driven, proactive, and adaptable with strong client psychology understanding.
