Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented
IT Sales Professional
who has a proven track record of generating new business and securing IT services projects from India, the US, and other global markets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in a similar role within an
IT services company
, with a deep understanding of the technology landscape, client requirements, and sales life cycle in both domestic and international geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and engage with potential clients across India, the US, and other global markets.
Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn, Upwork, email campaigns, and other sales platforms.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with decision-makers such as CTOs, CIOs, Founders, and Procurement Heads.
Understand client requirements and tailor service offerings accordingly.
Sales & Business Development:
Prepare compelling proposals, RFP responses, and pitch presentations.
Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Market Research & Strategy:
Analyze industry trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for target geographies and verticals.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with the delivery and pre-sales teams to ensure successful project acquisition and handover.
Maintain regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and revenue metrics using CRM tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum
3 years of proven sales experience
in IT services (Web, Mobile App Development, Cloud, DevOps, Staffing, etc.)
Strong
understanding of Indian, US, and global IT outsourcing markets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong
negotiation and closing skills
Experience working with sales platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Clutch, and other lead generation tools
Ability to manage multiple clients and sales cycles in parallel
Prior experience in
contract negotiation, pricing models, and proposal creation
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive sales approach
Preferred:
Prior working relationships with clients in sectors like Healthcare, FinTech, Retail, or Logistics
Existing client contacts in India or the US market
MBA in Marketing / International Business (preferred, not mandatory)
