Job Summary:
The IT Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth within the IT sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Generate Leads: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their business needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand market presence.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services, as well as industry trends and competitors.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, close sales, and ensure a smooth handover to the implementation team.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prepare regular reports for management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT sales or a related field.Not product sales.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT products and services, including software, hardware, and cloud solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Willingness to Work in a Startup Environment: Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Tools and Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Experience with sales automation tools
- Knowledge of lead generation tools such as ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, and LeadsGorilla
- Understanding of organic reach and digital marketing strategies
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Strong presentation and proposal writing skills
