- Key responsibilities and duties:
1 Prospecting and lead generation: Research and identify potential clients and new market opportunities through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
2 Relationship management: Build and maintain strong, meaningful relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
3 Sales strategy: Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. This includes managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closure.
4 Presentations and proposals: Create and deliver compelling presentations and business proposals to potential clients, effectively communicating the company's value proposition.
5 Market intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
6 Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to align business development initiatives with overall company strategy.
7 Reporting: Track sales metrics, monitor pipeline progress, and prepare regular performance reports for management.
