The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier technology professionals for various roles across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of technology roles, IT industry trends, and recruitment best practices. The IT Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, create job descriptions, and implement strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Candidate Screening:
Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking events, and internal referrals.
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit.
Review resumes, portfolios, and work samples to evaluate candidates' experience.
Conduct in-depth interviews with technical and non-technical candidates.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Partner with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements, qualifications, and technical needs.
Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, status, and market trends.
Advise hiring managers on market conditions, candidate availability, and compensation trends.
Job Posting & Branding:
Write clear and compelling job descriptions tailored to specific technical roles.
Promote job openings on various platforms, ensuring job postings reach the most relevant candidate pool.
Represent the company brand positively to candidates.
Candidate Experience & Relationship Management:
Maintain ongoing communication with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
Manage candidate expectations regarding timelines, compensation, and the interview process.
Build and nurture relationships with passive candidates for future opportunities.
Offer Negotiation & Closing:
Present offers to selected candidates and negotiate salary, benefits, and other terms.
Work with HR and hiring managers to create competitive and attractive offers.
Data & Reporting:
Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
Maintain accurate candidate data and documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices.
Continuously improve recruitment processes for efficiency and candidate experience.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an IT Recruiter or in a similar technical recruitment role.
In-depth knowledge of IT roles (e.g., Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Network Administrators, System Architects, etc.) and technical skills.
Familiarity with various recruitment platforms, ATS systems, and social media recruiting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple roles simultaneously.
Knowledge of labor laws and hiring regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience recruiting for niche or hard-to-fill technical roles.
Technical understanding of IT concepts or previous experience in a technical role.
Experience with data-driven recruitment and employer branding strategies.
