About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Recruiter / Senior Recruiter with proven expertise in overseas sourcing, end-to-end recruitment, and client coordination. The role involves managing the complete recruitment lifecycle, engaging directly with clients (including public sector organizations), and ensuring the delivery of high-quality candidates across IT domains.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting Irish clients, particularly in supplying IT professionals to both public sector projects and private sector clients (including U.S. Pharma companies and large vendors such as HCL, TATA, or Infosys).
This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work directly as part of the client's team while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Acquisition
Source, screen, and shortlist IT professionals from local and overseas markets.
Utilize multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn, job boards, social platforms, referrals, and internal databases.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline across diverse IT skill sets.
End-to-End Recruitment Process
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job briefing, advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
Negotiate offers and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver high-quality candidates.
Client Engagement & Coordination
Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and understanding of recruitment needs.
Join daily client calls, take full direction from clients, and function as part of their internal recruitment team.
Manage onsite coordination for interviews and assessments.
Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and recruitment strategies.
Public Sector & Compliance
Support hiring needs for Irish public sector projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to GDPR and local employment laws.
Additional Role Requirements
Education: Degree in Software Engineering or related IT discipline preferred.
Agency Experience: Prior work experience with a recruitment agency/vendor
Market Knowledge: Proven track record of supplying IT resumes for Irish-based clients.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English.
Commitment: Work exclusively for the client (no parallel clients/projects).
Adaptability: Highly flexible, can take direction easily, and work on their own initiative.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in sourcing and submissions.
Client Coverage: Primarily Irish public sector roles, with additional support for private clients such as U.S. Pharmas and large third-party vendors (HCL, TATA, Infosys).
