Job Description

We are hiring an experienced HR & Administration Specialist for our esteemed client in the Agrochemical Manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end HR operations, compliance, recruitment, and administration activities within a production environment, ensuring smooth workforce coordination and adherence to labour and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HR operations including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and compliance.
  • Manage blue-collar and staff hiring, including contract and permanent employees, ensuring the right fit across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory labour laws -- PF, ESI, Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, and other applicable regulations.
  • Handle attendance, leave, and overtime management via HRMS or manual systems.
  • Maintain employee records, registers, and documentation per HR and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and finance teams for HR and administrative requirements.
  • Liaise with government departments and regulatory authorities during audits or inspections.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes with a people-first approach.
  • Supervise administrative operations including housekeeping, security, transport, and facility management.
  • Implement and monitor safety, hygiene, and welfare measures in collaboration with internal departments.
  • Support leadership hiring and succession planning initiatives for key roles.
  • Prepare HR analytics, MIS reports, and recommend workforce optimization strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR & Admin experience in a manufacturing or process-based industry (preferably Agrochemical / Chemical / FMCG / Pharma).
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and workforce management.
  • Proven ability to handle end-to-end recruitment -- from blue-collar to leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools (attendance, payroll, compliance).
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities with a hands-on approach.
