Summarized Accountability:
This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of IT projects. They work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. This role also leads project teams, assigns tasks, and monitors progress, and communicates project status to all stakeholders. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives, and that they meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
Lead project teams and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Ensure project scope is clearly defined and managed throughout the project lifecycle
Manage project resources, including personnel and technology
Ensure project documentation is complete and up-to-date
Ensure project quality standards are met
Experience & Education:
5-7 years proven experience as an IT Project Manager
Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and industry best practices
Experience managing IT projects from initiation to closure
Ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resources
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems
Proficiency in project management software and tools
