We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Project Manager

to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will have

at least 4 years of experience

in managing IT projects within a

service-based environment

, with a

strong track record in web development and e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify

.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project management for web and e-commerce development projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

Manage Shopify-based development projects

, including theme customization, app integration, and third-party API implementation. Collaborate with design, development, and QA teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions. Gather and document client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; provide regular updates, manage expectations, and handle feedback. Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively. Maintain project documentation and track progress using project management tools (e.g.,

JIRA, Trello, Asana, MS Project

). Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

Minimum

4 years of project management experience

in a service-based IT company. Proven experience

managing web development projects

from planning to deployment.

Hands-on experience managing Shopify projects is mandatory

- including store setup, theme development, and third-party integrations. Strong understanding of

Shopify ecosystem

, capabilities, and limitations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage both internal teams and external clients. Solid understanding of

Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies

. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

PMP, Scrum Master Certification, or other relevant PM certifications. Familiarity with Shopify Plus or experience scaling large e-commerce stores. Technical background or understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid).
