About The Job:

• We are hiring a IT Procurement Contractor (Software/Hardware) to support sourcing, negotiation, and Vendor contract Management for IT-related purchases including software licenses, SaaS, hardware, and IT services. This is a hands-on, strategic lead role suited for professionals with 08 -10 years of procurement experience focused on smaller to mid-sized agreements and tier 2 suppliers.
• You will independently manage procurement projects from intake through contracting, in partnership with IT, legal, and finance stakeholders across the globe.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead sourcing for smaller-scale software, SaaS, hardware, and IT services contracts
• Support strategy development, market research, and supplier identification
• Prepare and run RFx events (RFPs/RFQs), manage supplier communication, and evaluate proposals
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms for tier 2 and lower-complexity agreements
• Collaborate with legal on contract drafting and compliance reviews
• Maintain supplier documentation, contracts, and spend tracking in procurement systems
• Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed
• Ensure alignment with internal procurement policies and processes
• Deliver reporting and presentation materials related to sourcing progress and outcomes

Qualifications:

• 08 -10 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, ideally with IT categories (software, hardware, SaaS)
• Familiarity with IT licensing models (subscription, perpetual, SaaS) and OEM/vendor ecosystems
• Experience negotiating with smaller or regional technology vendors is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field required
• Experience supporting global teams and offshore delivery models preferred

Key Skills:

• IT procurement and sourcing operations
• RFP/RFQ creation, analysis, and supplier selection
• Basic contract negotiation and vendor management
• Stakeholder coordination and communication
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
