Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the University's IT infrastructure, including servers, computers, networks, and peripherals Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students for hardware, software, and network-related issues Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and security updates Monitor and ensure smooth functioning of LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and campus network systems Maintain data security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures Support online learning platforms, ERP systems, examination systems, and university websites Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and AMC of IT equipment Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and system logs Assist in implementing new technologies and digital initiatives of the University Ensure compliance with University IT policies and data protection standards Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by University authorities

Required Qualifications

Postgraduate Degree (PG) in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Information Systems or a related discipline from a recognized university Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and database basics Familiarity with ERP systems, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity practices will be an added advantage Good problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Effective communication and coordination skills

Experience

Relevant work experience in an educational institution or reputed organization will be preferred Fresh PG candidates with strong technical knowledge may also apply
