To ensure the smooth functioning, security, and development of the school's IT infrastructure, systems, and digital tools, supporting both administrative operations and teaching-learning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Network & Infrastructure Management:
Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and server systems.
Ensure regular backups and manage IT assets across the campus.
Hardware & Software Support:
Install, configure, and update computer systems, printers, projectors, and other peripherals.
Provide first-line support and resolve hardware/software issues faced by staff and students.
School ERP & Data Management:
Manage the school ERP system including user setup, data entry, and report generation.
Ensure data integrity, regular updates, and backups of student and staff records.
Digital Learning Tools Support:
Provide technical support for smart boards, learning management systems (LMS), and online assessment tools.
Assist teachers with audio-visual equipment and e-learning platforms.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols.
Ensure compliance with data privacy norms and CBSE/NEP guidelines on digital education.
Website & Communication:
Maintain the school website with regular updates on content, design, and security.
Coordinate with vendors for IT-related procurement and services.
Training & Capacity Building:
Conduct basic IT orientation/training for staff and students.
Stay updated on latest tech trends relevant to the education sector.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (BCA/B.Sc IT/BE/B.Tech)
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support or system administration
Familiarity with school ERP systems, Google Workspace, and digital classroom tools
Key Skills:
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of networking, hardware maintenance, and basic coding (preferred)
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Effective communication and team collaboration
Time management and multi-tasking capabilities
