Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable

Network Technician

with

2-4 years of experience

in network cabling and infrastructure deployment. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on knowledge of cable laying, OFC work, LAN/WAN setup, and access point configuration, along with good technical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

CAT6/CAT6A cable laying

and structured cabling tasks. Handle

OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) laying, splicing

, and testing. Execute

LAN & WAN installation

, configuration, and troubleshooting. Install, dress, and manage

network racks

, patch panels, and cable trays. Conduct

I/O port punching

, testing, labeling, and port mapping. Configure and deploy

wireless Access Points (indoor/outdoor)

. Perform cable and fiber testing using tools like

OTDR, Fluke testers

, etc. Provide on-site support for installation, maintenance, and fault resolution. Maintain proper documentation for cabling, splicing records, and daily activity logs.

Added Advantage (Preferred Skills)

CCTV installation & configuration

(HD & IP cameras).

Intercom system setup

and troubleshooting. Knowledge of NVR/DVR and basic access control systems. Basic understanding of network security and routing fundamentals.

Required Experience

2-4 years

of hands-on experience in networking and cabling work. Strong understanding of

structured cabling standards

and fiber splicing. Ability to work independently and coordinate with on-site teams/clients.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma / B.Tech / Any relevant technical certification. Certifications like

CCNA

,

Fiber Splicing

, or equivalent are added advantages.

Work Location

As per company/project requirements (site-based work).

Salary

Based on experience and technical skill set.
