Job Description

Brief Role : Responsible for providing technical leadership for network engineering projects of varying complexity. Normally, addressing any issues with the Infrastructure estate, documenting and maintaining the configuration. Responsible for maintaining and developing documentation to aid in the support of the global data network and VoIP infrastructure. Monitoring and managing the IT Network & Data Centre operations in line with best practice. Perform daily administration, monitoring logs and device health. Create and resolve Service Desk tickets for tickets and systems alerts (e. g. from LANSweeper or PRTG) Schedule, document release plans and perform updates / fixes needed. Check backup success, act on any issues and perform scheduled restores. Collaborates with team members locally or virtually in remote states or countries. Responsible for the on-going assessment and upgrade of the global network. Performs moderate to complex engineering, implementation, and maintenance tasks on the network under minimal supervision.
