Job Description

:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support / Network Support Engineer with 1 year of hands-on experience in networking and system debugging. The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science foundation and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently while supporting day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi). Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Perform system and application debugging to identify and resolve technical problems. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to internal users. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software. Document technical issues, resolutions, and network configurations. Coordinate with senior engineers and vendors for complex issue resolution. Ensure network security best practices are followed. Perform routine system health checks and updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1 year of experience in IT support, networking, EDP or a related role. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching). Basic knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security concepts. Experience in debugging operating systems, applications, or network issues. Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments. Understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software troubleshooting. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems. Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
