who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining all IT systems, networks, and security infrastructure across all showrooms and offices. This includes managing LAN/WAN connections, ensuring LAN security, setting up new office networks, and overseeing CCTV camera systems and EPBX communication systems. The role demands hands-on expertise, leadership, and strategic IT planning to ensure smooth business operations and data security.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network & System Administration
Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and access points.
Ensure LAN security through firewalls, antivirus, VPNs, and regular patch updates.
Monitor network performance and uptime across all branches and showrooms.
Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues proactively.
2. Office IT Setup & Infrastructure
Plan and execute complete IT setup for new showrooms/offices including cabling, servers, Wi-Fi, printers, and workstations.
Maintain centralized server and data storage systems with daily backups and disaster recovery plans.
Ensure optimal functioning of ERP, POS, and billing systems across all locations.
Implement and manage cloud services and secure data-sharing platforms.
3. Security Systems Management
Supervise installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and remote monitoring access.
Regularly audit and maintain network and data security protocols.
Implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data (designs, pricing, and client information).
4. Communication Systems (EPBX / VoIP)
Administer and maintain EPBX systems--extensions, call routing, and intercom connectivity.
Manage VoIP systems and coordinate integration with CRM or internal communication tools.
Ensure uninterrupted internal and external communication channels.
5. IT Support & User Assistance
Lead a team of IT executives/technicians to provide prompt technical support to all departments.
Conduct training sessions for employees on IT best practices and data security awareness.
Maintain detailed documentation of network layouts, credentials, and system inventories.
6. Vendor & Project Management
Coordinate with internet service providers, hardware vendors, and software partners for installations and service delivery.
Negotiate and manage AMC contracts for hardware, CCTV, and software support.
Plan and monitor IT budgets, purchases, and asset utilization efficiently.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, LAN security, and firewall management.
Expertise in office IT setup, EPBX systems, and CCTV monitoring systems.
Experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, VPNs, and data backup solutions.
Proficiency in ERP/POS systems used in retail environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and team leadership skills.
Ability to manage multi-location IT operations efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering (Master's preferred).
10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in retail, jewellery, or multi-branch corporate setups.
