Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams Provide prompt and accurate feedback Ensure all issues are properly logged Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time Follow up with departments to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting Prepare accurate and timely reports Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing security cameras, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems Monitoring the operation of security equipment for malfunctions or other problems Recording events on camera and storing footage in a digital format for later reference Maintaining logs of security incidents and making sure they are reported to appropriate personnel Installing and maintaining security equipment such as alarms or access control systems Responding to security breaches or other emergencies such as fires or medical emergencies Operating computer systems that monitor surveillance camera feeds for activity
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field

Additional certification in Hardware and Networking is a plus

Preferred Skills

Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role

Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software

Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
