Job Overview:
We are looking for a competent and experienced IT Manager to oversee the efficient functioning of IT systems, infrastructure, and services across the organization. The role focuses on ensuring smooth day- to-day IT operations, network reliability, system availability, and compliance with global IT policies. The ideal candidate will lead local IT operations, coordinate with the Global Sites, and drive operational improvements to support business and production continuity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure s Systems Administration
Oversee maintenance, monitoring, and performance of Windows/Linux servers and NAS devices.
Ensure effective backup management, system updates, and data protection practices.
Maintain server uptime and system security in alignment with global IT guidelines.
Supervise IT assets, configuration records, and lifecycle management.
Network s Connectivity Management
Manage LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure to ensure continuous and reliable connectivity.
Co-ordination with the other sites for network planning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with vendors for network upgrades, internet services, and maintenance support.
Monitor network performance and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
IT Operations s Compliance
Ensure adherence to global and local IT policies, including data protection and security controls.
Maintain documentation for IT processes, system configurations, and user access records.
Manage IT procurement activities, coordinate with vendors for hardware/software requirements.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001:2022 information security management standards.
User Support s Service Delivery
Lead and support the IT team in resolving user issues related to hardware, software, and applications.
Oversee onboarding/offboarding IT processes, including device setup and access provisioning.
Ensure timely support ticket resolution and monitor service quality standards.
Provide training and guidance to employees on IT best practices and data security awareness.
Collaboration s Reporting
Reporting on operational performance, incident trends, and improvement actions.
Support implementation of global IT projects, upgrades, and standardization initiatives.
Provide feedback on local challenges, risk areas, and opportunities for process improvement.
Maintain communication between the India IT team and global IT stakeholders.
