Senior IT Manager -

Overview

The Senior IT Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, implementation, and management of the organization's technology infrastructure, security systems, and service delivery processes. This leadership role oversees the IT team, manages critical projects, and ensures high availability, performance, and security of all IT assets and services for both internal staff and external clients (Retail, Banking, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

I. IT Infrastructure, Network, and Security Management (35%)

? Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and operation of the entire IT infrastructure, including on-premises Data Centre (DC) and cloud services.

? Availability & Performance: Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of all IT systems, including data centres, servers, networks, and cloud services.

? Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi) for both Office and Client locations; monitor performance and troubleshoot complex network issues.

? Security Implementation: Implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and other critical controls.

? Security Governance: Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments; ensure strict compliance with established security policies and best practices; develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

? Disaster Recovery: Develop, maintain, and regularly test comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans to ensure data integrity and availability in all circumstances.

II. IT Service Delivery & Technical Support (30%)

? Service Management: Oversee IT service delivery, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and implementing and managing IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. Continuously monitor and report on service performance to drive improvement.

? Advanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the subject matter expert for all Server, Network, and Desktop technologies; analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to VPN, network, and Linux infrastructure.

? User Support & Resolution: Provide best-in-class technical support to end-users (L1/L3) both remotely and onsite, ensuring timely resolution of all incidents and service requests related to daily work applications (Next Cloud, Outlook, Internet, printer,

scanner, etc.).

? Specialized Support: Provide technical support for IOT solutions and other in-house products, as well as specialized support for the Next Cloud and Outlook environment.

? Training & Mentorship: Conduct training sessions for staff and clients on IT-related topics and provide technical training/mentorship to L1/L2 teams for advanced infrastructure, patch management, and overall skill upgradation.

III. Team Leadership and Continuous Improvement (20%)

? Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

? Performance Management: Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide targeted professional development opportunities for team members.

? Coordination: Ensure effective communication, coordination, and alignment between the IT team and other departments within the organization.

? Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices; identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and the adoption of new technologies.

IV. Governance, Project, and Vendor Management (15%)

? Project Execution: Lead and coordinate IT projects, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network solutions for various clients (e.g., Retail, Banking) and internal projects (e.g., "Temple project").

? Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation of all network and system configurations; document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting processes.

? Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on system performance, security posture, and project status to senior management.

? Asset Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets (Hardware, SIM, Internet connections, Access Points, TV, etc.).

? Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with key IT vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and terms of service, and monitoring their performance for adherence to agreements.

Qualifications and Requirements

? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

? Proven experience as an IT Manager or Senior Manager, demonstrating strong technical and leadership capabilities.

? Deep expertise in Server (Windows/Linux), Desktop, and Network technologies.

? Experience with Cloud services and On-premises DC infrastructure.

? Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and process implementation.

? Strong understanding of security best practices, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability

management.

? Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

? Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects and vendor relationships.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?500,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
