Own, manage, and continuously improve all enterprise business applications (SAP Business One ERP, Integrated Operations Portal, Integrated Sales App, Keka HRMS, and future ecommerce platform). Drive endtoend project execution from idea, scoping, planning, build, integration, rollout, stabilization, to measurable results. Lead a small crossfunctional internal + vendor team to deliver reliable, scalable, and businesscentric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Business One Ownership
Act as primary functional + technofunctional authority across all SAP B1 modules (Financials, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Production, MRP, Service, Fixed Assets, Banking, Costing, Approvals, Analytics).
Lead enhancements, version upgrades, localization, GST compliance, and performance tuning.
Maintain master data discipline, authorization matrix, change control, and audit readiness.
2. Integrations & Application Ecosystem
Manage and optimize integrations between SAP B1, Operations Portal, Sales App, Keka HRMS, ecommerce site, and future systems (APIs / Service Layer / ETL jobs).
Define and enforce integration standards, error handling, logging, and data reconciliation processes.
3. ECommerce & Digital Enablement
Support/drive ecommerce platform roadmap (product master sync, pricing, stock visibility, order capture, customer selfservice).
Ensure seamless order-to-cash and fulfilment flow into SAP.
4. Project & Delivery Management
Convert business needs into clear BRDs / user stories, scope, timelines, resource plans, and risk logs.
Use project management tools (e.g., ClickUp / Jira / MS Project) to maintain plan, milestones, dependencies, and status dashboards.
Run standups, reviews, UAT cycles, golive checklists, and postimplementation reviews.
5. Continuous Improvement & Automation
Identify process gaps, manual work, data integrity issues; propose and implement automation (workflows, alerts, dashboards, RPA / scripts, reporting).
Build KPI/BI requirement handover documents for analytics team.
6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, coach, and upskill internal application / support team.
Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, Production, Logistics, and Management for priorities and adoption.
Maintain clear communication, escalation, and expectation management.
7. Vendor & Partner Management
Evaluate, onboard, and govern external implementation / support partners.
Ensure SLAs for incident response, enhancements, and uptime are met.
Control scope creep and cost; negotiate change requests.
8. Governance, Security & Compliance
Enforce role-based access, SoD (Segregation of Duties), backup & recovery routines, patching, and performance monitoring.
Support statutory / internal audits (GST, inventory, financial controls).
Oversee documentation: configuration registers, interface maps, SOPs, user manuals, training material.
9. Incident, Problem & Change Management
Establish triage process, root cause analysis, preventive actions, and release calendar.
Maintain application health dashboard (uptime, backlog aging, defect density).
10. Reporting & Metrics
Publish weekly / monthly dashboards on project progress, enhancement pipeline, SLA adherence, user adoption, integration success rates.
Track ROI of key initiatives (cycle time reduction, error reduction, productivity gains).
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering (Masters preferred).
8 -10+ years
handson experience with
SAP Business One
(functional or technofunctional) covering multiple modules and real project lifecycles.
Proven record of
endtoend project delivery
(scoping to benefits realization).
Strong integration experience (SAP B1 Service Layer / APIs / JSON / REST, middleware, ETL, or similar).
Exposure to HRMS (e.g., Keka) and mobile / web application integration.
Working knowledge of
ecommerce workflows
(catalog, pricing, inventory sync, order processing).
Ability to read & guide on SQL queries (HANA / MS SQL), data validation, and performance basics.
Practical understanding of GST, Indian statutory needs, approval workflows, and audit trails.
Experience with project management & collaboration tools (ClickUp / Jira / Confluence / MS Project / Teams).
