Position Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, technical support operations, cybersecurity, and technology initiatives. This role requires the individual to work in both Individual Contributor (IC) and Managerial capacity, contributing hands-on technical work while providing strategic leadership to the IT team. The IT Manager ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT environment, aligning technology solutions with business goals and driving operational tasks toward automation.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
Manage daily IT operations, ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability of systems, office networks, and hardware globally.
Oversee IT Office Infrastructure Management globally across all locations including workspace setup, network equipment, and facilities.
Manage global Asset Management including inventory tracking, procurement, lifecycle management, disposal, and software license compliance.
Administer and improve Intune/MDM for device enrollment, policy deployment, compliance monitoring, endpoint security, and mobile device protection.
Configure, manage, and improve VPN solutions to ensure secure remote connectivity and data protection for employees globally.
Drive Automation of Workflows using PowerShell and other scripting tools to streamline routine IT tasks, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes efficiently.
2. Technical Support & Service Delivery
Lead and supervise the IT support/helpdesk team to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
Manage Ticket Management and Employee Issues ensuring efficient resolution, escalation, and tracking of all IT support requests.
Administer and improve ITSM tools to ensure structured service delivery, incident tracking, and change management.
Define, track, and report on KPIs to measure IT performance, service quality, SLA compliance, project delivery, and team productivity.
Drive Process Improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery, optimize workflows, reduce resolution times, and improve user satisfaction.
Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures including Cloud firewalls, endpoint protection, and access controls.
Administer and improve Office 365 suite including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Defender, and Purview for collaboration and security.
Implement and manage DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies to protect sensitive data, prevent unauthorized sharing, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Administer and improve Exchange Online for email management, mail flow configuration, mailbox administration, and email security policies.
Manage Secure Email services using Trustifi for email encryption, advanced threat protection, and compliance with data security standards.
Maintain security posture through vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with data protection laws and maintain internal security scores.
4. Strategic Planning & Projects
Identify and implement technology solutions to support business objectives.
Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Develop IT policies, SOPs, and technology roadmaps.
5. Budgeting & Vendor Management
Prepare and manage IT Budget, including forecasting, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
Conduct Evaluation of Third-Party Vendors for IT solutions, services, and tools to ensure best value and quality.
Negotiate with vendors, manage IT procurement, and oversee contract agreements.
Technical Skills
1. Proficient in Desktop Troubleshooting (Windows & Mac)
2. Strong experience with Intune/MDM for device management and endpoint administration
3. Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and ITIL processes for service management
4. Strong knowledge of VPN configuration and management (Zscaler Preferred)
5. Expertise in Device Management including enrollment, policies, and compliance
6. Strong experience in Exchange Online Administration including mail flow, mailbox management, and email security policies
7. Experience with Trustifi or similar secure email solutions for encryption and threat protection
8. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks
9. Good Understanding of Azure AD and identity management
10. Good Knowledge of Firewall, Switch, and Router configuration
11. Strong understanding of Office 365 suite including SharePoint, Teams, Defender, and Purview
12. Experience with DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policy configuration and management
Certifications (Nice to Have)
1. Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator (Preferred)
2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) (Optional)
3. Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) (Optional)
