Job Description


Your role will include but is not limited to:
a) IT/Digital Strategy & Project Management:

  • Develop and maintain a clear digital roadmap & capabilities for activities and projects to deliver the strategy aligned with the ambitions of the company
oA multi-year digital roadmap responsive to business requirements and developments, ensuring it remains current.

oSecure approval for this roadmap within the subsidiary and communicate it to corporate IT to facilitate resource planning and allocation.
  • Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and schedule constraints, starting with the management of the project of merging the IT of 2 currents entities in the context of reorganisation
  • Lead and develop the IT function. Identify key skills and talent gaps in the organization and recruit, train, and retain talent.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate IT & Digital Division at the Group level, which provides several IT services and applications (digital workplace, infrastructures, services integration xe2x80xa6), to mature the group operating model, architecture & cybersecurity principles, standards and guidelines.
b) HELP DESK SUPPORT:xe2x80xa2Maintenance of Hardware (such as Computers, Printers, Scanners, Fax Machines, UPS, and Networking Components of different makes & models), and various Software installed on the premises, assistance in video conferencing, and any other work related to Information Technology given by Customer.
  • Responsible for creation of email id for new joiners, coordination for IT-related matters, and troubleshooting in case of any issues.
  • To suggest replacing parts if deemed necessary and replacing old & defective parts with new parts as procured by the Customer or supplied by SELECTED FIRM against an order being placed by the Customer on approval of the rates.
  • Updating of the software/drivers required for the networking components during the contract period.
  • Troubleshooting for any IT-related matter.
  • Providing remote & telephonic support to all the users.
  • Raise issues with ISP service provider as and when required and will be responsible for raising the ticket with the service provider. and follow it up till the problem is resolved.
a)DATA BACK-UP, SERVER & SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT:
  • In relationship with Corporate IT team :
oEnsure the stability and security of our server environment.
  • Implement a robust data backup solution to protect against data loss, for redundancy and disaster recovery.
  • Develop and maintain a data restoration plan for prompt recovery in case of data loss.
  • Conduct regular tests to validate the effectiveness of the restoration process.
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect against potential threats.
b)WEBSITE MAINTENANCE:
  • Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure the website's functionality and security.
  • Address and resolve any technical issues promptly.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
  • Ensure that all content is current and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain a regular backup schedule for website data.
c)CYBERSECURITY ASSESSMENT:
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our current cybersecurity posture.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Implement and manage endpoint protection measures.
  • Ensure the security of devices connected to our network.
d)INCIDENT RESPONSE AND MANAGEMENT:
  • Establish and implement an incident response plan to address cybersecurity incidents promptly.
  • Provide ongoing support in the event of a security breach.
e)SCALABILITY AND FLEXIBILITY:
  • Provide a scalable solution that can accommodate the growth of our data, in compliance with our xe2x80x9cGroup Digital Standardsxe2x80x9d.
  • Ensure flexibility to adapt to changes in technology and organizational requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on technology solutions to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Assist in planning for future technology needs.
f)COMPLIANCE AND GOVERNANCE:
  • Ensure adherence to organizationxe2x80x99s IT and Data Security Policy and compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity governance best practices.
  • Ensure that the data storage and processing is compliant under GDPR and local regulation.
g)IT Communities
  • Participate in the various communities animated by the corporate IT, including xe2x80x9cIT Representativesxe2x80x9d, xe2x80x9cMicrosoft M365 championsxe2x80x9d, xe2x80x9cCybersecurityxe2x80x9d and xe2x80x9cArtificial Intelligencexe2x80x9d
  • Share key information obtained through those communities to end-users locally to raise their cybersecurity awareness and strengthen their productivity with the digital tools.
Qualification
In this role you will have to build relationships across the organisation at Executive & senior management level and at the operational level.Experience & background
  • Strategic leadership of IT/Digital function.
  • IT manager background and/or engineer
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrable IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to variety of technical environments and business segments
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification would be a significant benefit.
  • Experience of working with multi-location teams
  • Experience within the energy industry or large infrastructure projects preferable.
