About Your Role

The IT intern will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. They will work closely with experienced Systems Engineers to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the cloud-based systems. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and manage cloud-based applications and services, monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, implement security measures, automate processes and tasks, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

What You'll Do

Assist in the design and implementation of cloud architecture, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. Build pipelines to deliver container images Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and manage cloud-based applications and services. Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks. Implement security measures to protect cloud resources and data. Automate processes and tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud infrastructure. Assist in evaluation of new technologies and participate in Proof of Concept projects

What You'll Need to Get the Job Done

Currently pursuing a any degree and are going into your senior year this fall Understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles Familiarity with cloud platform Amazon Web Services (AWS) Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform Familiarity in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar tools Basics of networking concepts and protocols Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
