Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated

IT Hardware Intern

to join our IT team. This internship provides hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware systems, assisting with asset management, and supporting internal IT operations.

This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who are passionate about computer hardware and eager to start a career in IT support or infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

nstall, configure, and troubleshoot

desktops, laptops, and servers

to ensure optimal performance. Perform routine

hardware maintenance

, including replacing or upgrading

HDDs/SSDs, RAM, power supplies, motherboards, and network interface cards (NICs)

. Set up and support

peripheral devices

such as

printers, scanners, and biometric systems

. Assist with the configuration and maintenance of

network hardware

including

switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points

. Install and provide basic support for

operating systems

, primarily

Windows and Linux distributions

(e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS). Conduct

hardware-level diagnostics

for issues such as

disk failures, overheating, and power supply problems

. Coordinate with external

vendors and service providers

for hardware repairs,

warranty claims, and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)

processes. Maintain up-to-date

IT asset records

, including inventory tracking, device tagging, and lifecycle management. Provide basic assistance with

data backup and recovery procedures

, ensuring system resilience and data integrity.
Requirement

Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in

Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field

. Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals. Familiarity with Windows OS and basic troubleshooting. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
