Your Job as IT Infrastructure Delivery Engineer will be an integral part of a global team responsible for supporting and maintaining critical network and platform security infrastructure for Koch Industries. As an IT Infrastructure Delivery Engineer will report directly to the Delivery Supervisor and assist in designing & implementing Network Security technical project work. The role requires foundational skills in network and network security design and support, effective communication, collaboration, customer focus, economic and critical thinking, and a willingness to learn and grow within the field.

Our Team

The Koch Infrastructure Delivery team provides reliable, flexible, and secure connectivity solutions that enable business solutions and perpetual transformation. We manage network and network security infrastructure, including wide area networking, local area networking, wireless, firewalls, datacenter networking, load balancing, endpoint security, and proxies. We provide enterprise infrastructure monitoring for IT components across the enterprise. We are currently focused on the following transformation strategies: talent, proactive management, process optimization and automation, security by design, and adopting a product focused organization.

What You Will Do

Expertise in FortiGate and Palo Alto Firewalls:

In-depth knowledge of both FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, including their features and functionalities.

Design and Architecture Skills:

Proficiency in designing firewall architecture to meet security requirements.

Deployment and Configuration:

Experience in deploying and configuring firewalls in various network environments

Perimeter and Network Security Management:

Oversee our perimeter and Process Control Network security environments, handling requests, troubleshooting, break-fix tasks, new setups, and alert logging and reporting.

System Configuration and Maintenance:

Configure, maintain, and optimize firewall systems (Palo Alto & FortiGate) to meet established technical standards.

Customer Collaboration:

Engage directly with customers to understand their requirements, ensuring a high-quality experience in deliverables.

Project Delivery Management:

Lead complex network security projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to Network/Network Security engineering standards and seamless handover to the Operations team.

Customer Issue Resolution:

Interface with customers to resolve issues, communicate resolution status, and provide high-quality solutions.

Process Improvement:

Identify process gaps or areas for enhancement in delivery efficiencies, recommending and implementing effective solutions.

Standards Compliance:

Ensure project solutions align with approved standards and meet stakeholder expectations.

Connectivity Solutions:

Deliver high-quality solutions addressing secure connectivity requirements.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct quality checks and drive initiatives to enhance the quality and accuracy of designs.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver network security solutions efficiently.

Automation and Innovation:

Identify potential automation opportunities and maintain a mindset focused on experimentation and innovation

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree (Computers/Electronics), Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in network security, with a focus on firewalls. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Seasoned Security resource who is in either support of complex enterprise networks, or management of network & network security devices like firewalls, proxies, and IPS devices, ISE. Experience in planning, designing and practical experience in end-to-end management and execution of network security project infrastructure deployment. Basic understanding of Meraki & Cisco Deployments. Advanced Knowledge on Creating BOM, HLD, LLD.

What Will Put You Ahead

Certification (Preferred): Relevant certifications from Fortinet or Palo Alto. Work expertise in enterprise level Security deployments. Experience with Process Control Networks (PCN), or Managing Security for PCNs- IOT Knowledge of network monitoring tools
