Job Description

The IT In-Charge is responsible for managing and maintaining the school's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth functioning of digital systems, supporting teaching-learning processes, and ensuring compliance with CBSE digital and examination requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Management

Manage and maintain computers, servers, printers, projectors, smart boards, CCTV and other IT equipment. Ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity and proper functioning of LAN/Wi-Fi networks. Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software. Coordinate with external vendors for AMC, repairs, and upgrades.

Academic & Digital Support

Provide technical support to teachers for smart classes, online platforms, and digital content. Assist in implementation and maintenance of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and school ERP. Support online examinations, assessments, and CBSE digital initiatives. Maintain computer labs and ensure adherence to safety and usage policies.

Data, Security & Compliance

Ensure data security, backups, antivirus protection, and cyber safety protocols. Maintain confidentiality of student and staff data. Assist in CBSE-related online submissions, portal updates, and examination processes. Ensure compliance with CBSE IT norms and digital documentation requirements.

Administrative Support

Maintain IT inventory, licenses, and documentation. Train staff on basic IT usage and cyber safety awareness. Troubleshoot daily IT issues and ensure minimal downtime. Support school website updates and digital communication platforms.
