Job Summary:

The IT Head will be responsible for leading and managing the entire Information Technology function across all branches of Alps Distributors Pvt. Ltd. This includes ensuring seamless operation of software applications such as

Tally

,

ERP systems

,

CRM

, and other enterprise tools, maintaining

network and server infrastructure

, managing

data security

, and supporting all departments with efficient and reliable IT solutions. The role requires a proactive leader capable of developing IT strategies aligned with business goals and driving continuous technological improvement.

Key Responsibilities:1. IT Infrastructure & Network Management:

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems. Ensure continuous uptime and performance of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections across all company locations. Monitor network security, firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure stable connectivity and data protection.

2. Software Systems & Application Management:

Administer and maintain core business software such as

Tally

,

ERP

,

CRM

, and

HRMS systems

. Coordinate with software vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting, and integration of new modules. Ensure user access controls, licensing compliance, and software version management. Automate manual processes through technology solutions to enhance efficiency.

3. Data Management & Security:

Develop and implement data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place, including antivirus protection, data encryption, and secure access protocols. Regularly audit systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and security gaps. Protect company data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability at all times.

4. Team Leadership & Support:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the IT team to achieve departmental objectives. Ensure quick resolution of all IT-related support requests across departments. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on software usage, data security, and new system implementations. Maintain a collaborative approach with all departments to ensure IT alignment with business needs.

5. Strategic IT Planning:

Develop and execute the IT roadmap in alignment with company growth and technological trends. Recommend and implement innovative IT solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts effectively. Ensure all IT policies and procedures are compliant with organizational standards and data protection regulations.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare and present periodic IT performance reports to management. Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, processes, and configurations. Track system uptime, network health, and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

. Minimum

8-12 years of experience

in IT management, with at least

3-5 years in a leadership role

. Strong expertise in

Tally ERP

,

networking

,

database management

, and

cybersecurity

. Hands-on experience with

firewalls, servers, cloud systems, and backup solutions

. Exposure to

multi-location IT operations

and

large-scale infrastructure management

.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability. Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and vendors. Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, IT tools, and security trends. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
