Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Printer & Hardware Maintenance

: Manage, install, and repair all office and production printers; perform regular maintenance to ensure zero downtime.

Network Management:

Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections to ensure seamless connectivity between the office and the manufacturing floor.

System Support:

Provide technical support for workstations, laptops, and software used in the design and production of metal parts.

Infrastructure Security:

Implement data security measures and manage regular backups to protect sensitive manufacturing designs and company data.

Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs or specialized software support when required.

Inventory Tracking:

Maintain an updated inventory of all IT assets, including computer hardware, networking equipment, and printer supplies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches) and hands-on experience in printer hardware repair.

Troubleshooting:

Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues quickly.

Education:

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure in a production-focused setting
