Rais Foundation is seeking a skilled and dedicated

IT Officer

to support and manage the technological needs of our school-based institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth digital operations, and providing technical support to staff and students. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, up-to-date technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to system improvement.

Educational Qualifications

MCA (Master of Computer Applications) OR Degree in

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

OR

Software Engineering / Computer Engineering / IT Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all school IT systems, networks, and hardware. Provide timely technical support to staff, teachers, and students. Install, configure, and update software, applications, and security tools. Troubleshoot system issues, connectivity problems, and device malfunctions. Oversee data backup, cybersecurity, and safe digital practices within the school. Manage school websites, online portals, smart-class equipment, and digital classrooms. Coordinate with vendors for IT assets, repairs, and AMC services. Ensure proper functioning of biometric systems, CCTV, projectors, and printers. Support digital exams, online classes, and tech-based school operations. Document IT processes, inventory, and maintenance logs.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software systems. Familiarity with school ERP systems, LMS tools, and cloud platforms (preferred). Good understanding of cybersecurity and data protection. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and independently. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
