Job Description

Manage Hospital IT Infrastructure

including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and network equipment.

Provide technical support

to hospital staff for hardware, software, and networking issues.

Maintain Hospital Information Systems (HIS)

and ensure their smooth functioning and timely updates.

Coordinate with HIS/Vendor Support

teams for troubleshooting and system enhancements.

Ensure data security

and implement regular data backup protocols.

Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN

, internet, and Wi-Fi connectivity across hospital departments.

Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords

for new employees and doctors.

Maintain IT asset inventory

and ensure proper tagging, usage, and documentation.

Handle installation and upgrades

of operating systems and application software.

Support telemedicine, EMR, PACS, and other digital health platforms

used in the hospital.

Implement cybersecurity protocols

, antivirus, firewall, and security patches.

Train hospital staff

on the use of HIS software and basic IT troubleshooting.

Ensure 24/7 uptime of critical hospital systems

, especially in departments like ICU, Emergency, and OT.

Assist in compliance with NABH, HIPAA

, and other healthcare IT standards.
