The IT Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining all technology systems used within the hospitality environment. The role ensures smooth operation of software, hardware, and network infrastructure that supports guest services and internal operations, while maintaining data security, system efficiency, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support property management, point-of-sale, and communication systems.
Provide technical assistance to all departments and resolve IT-related issues.
Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and data connections.
Ensure system security, data backups, and disaster recovery processes are in place.
Assist with installation, configuration, and upgrades of hardware and software.
Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and related documentation.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and troubleshooting.
Prepare regular reports on IT performance and system health.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of PMS, POS, and other hospitality systems.
Strong understanding of networking, servers, and cybersecurity.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call as required.
