The Position:
IT ServiceNow Developer IV (CRM)
The IT ServiceNow Developer IV (CRM) is responsible for leading the configuration, customization, and ongoing support of ServiceNow CRM/CPQ solutions. This role focuses on delivering complex workflows, integrations, and system enhancements that meet evolving business needs. The developer works closely with business stakeholders, architects, and senior technical team members to ensure scalable, stable, and high?quality CRM solutions while providing technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
Contribute to technical strategies, coding standards, and long?term technology roadmaps.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and ServiceNow capabilities for adoption.
Lead the design, development, and delivery of ServiceNow CRM/CPQ solutions from conception through deployment.
Configure and customize CRM/CPQ modules including Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Quotes.
Develop and maintain complex workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
Design, implement, and support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
Perform and oversee data imports and updates using import sets and transform maps.
Optimize and enhance existing ServiceNow CRM applications and components.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports for business and leadership stakeholders.
Collaborate with QA, business, and cross?functional teams during testing, release, and deployment phases.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical incidents and complex CRM?related issues.
Analyze application performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate resolution across teams.
Maintain technical documentation, update sets, and version control standards.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand?ups, and retrospectives.
Conduct code reviews and drive continuous improvement practices.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members.
What We're Looking For:
Strong proficiency in ServiceNow CRM/CPQ configuration and customization.
Advanced experience with ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
Proven expertise in workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
Working knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
Experience creating and maintaining ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
Understanding of ACLs and role?based access control within ServiceNow.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem?solving skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate effectively with cross?functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Approximately 5 years of overall IT experience, including at least 3 years of ServiceNow development experience.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
Hands?on experience with CRM or CPQ modules is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
