To ensure smooth functioning of the organization's IT infrastructure by installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, networking systems, and related IT services. The role supports day-to-day troubleshooting, user support, and ensures high system availability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Management
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and ensure timely resolution.
Manage hardware inventory, AMC, and warranties.
Perform regular system health checks and preventive maintenance.
2. Networking & Infrastructure
Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi routers, switches, firewalls, and network cables.
Monitor network performance and ensure uptime.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, IP conflicts, bandwidth issues, and other network-related problems.
Support VPN connectivity for remote users.
3. Server & System Administration
Assist in managing Windows servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, and backup systems.
Maintain file sharing, permission controls, and user access systems.
Support antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
4. IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to all departments.
Handle software installations (MS Office, ERP, Antivirus, Email clients etc.).
Ensure all IT tickets are closed within defined SLAs.
Maintain documentation for incidents, resolutions, and asset records.
5. IT Security & Compliance
Ensure antivirus updates, firewall rules, and security protocols are followed.
Support periodic IT audits, data backup, and recovery processes.
Follow cybersecurity guidelines and IT policies of the company.
6. Coordination & Vendor Management
Coordinate with IT vendors for repairs, procurement, and AMC services.
Ensure timely follow-up for purchases and service requests.
Support procurement of IT hardware and software licenses.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Certifications preferred:
CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA A+/N+

2-4 years of experience in hardware and networking support (Freshers can be considered for trainee roles).
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting.
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching).
Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and backup systems.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and provide timely support.
Additional Responsibilities (Optional based on company needs):
Support CCTV system maintenance.
Assist in biometric attendance system management.
Help in ERP technical support (user creation, access issues).
Support IT infrastructure at plant locations during shutdown or audits.
