The Role
Veeva Systems is seeking an energetic IT End-User support engineer based in Hyderabad, India responsible for IT end-user services for regional Veeva offices in APAC on a contract basis. This person must be resourceful, technical, cool under fire, and love to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be a self-starter, must have a high sense of job ownership and must be comfortable in uncertain and ambiguous situations.
What You’ll Do

• Provide general end-user IT support to employees and contractors over the IT ticketing system
• Provide clear instruction, help and support, and be responsible for what new employees feel, see and hear when introduced to their IT equipment and support
• Build, set up and configure the appropriate equipment required by both new starters and existing employees as required for them to do their jobs
• Maintain the business relationship with local vendors
• Take ownership of project-based tasks
• Manage corporate PCs/MACs (IT asset control, diagnosis, and repair, coordinating warranty repairs, organizing hardware shipment with the local vendors)
• Provide local IT support for employees primarily in India as well as other APAC countries
• Distribute hardware and create user accounts for new employees
• Be responsible for account deactivations for terminated users
• Maintain IT asset data (serial numbers, software keys, locations, etc.)
• Facilitate shipping, recycling, and disposal of computers, peripherals

Requirements

• Degree or Certificate with emphasis on Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent IT experience
• Team player
• Fluent or native communication skills in English
• Eligibility to work in India

Nice to Have

• Work experience in providing end-users with IT support
• Work experience in IT helpdesk
• ITIL v3/v4
• IT related certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CMNO, ECMS1, ECMS2, MCSA, MCSE, LPIC1, or LPIC-2
