to own the full IT, security, and infrastructure ecosystem. This role combines IT administration, security operations, and DevOps engineering, ensuring that systems, devices, cloud environments, and applications remain secure, reliable, and scalable.
You will be responsible for managing laptops, VPNs, servers, credentials, logs, and API tokens, while also driving infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployments. The role requires balancing enterprise-grade security practices with DevOps execution, working closely with developers, project managers, and leadership to deliver secure and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Access & Security Management
Conduct access audits across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and business-critical applications.
Design and enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) across all systems.
Manage secure credential vaults (e.g., Bitwarden/1Password) with strict access policies.
Oversee API token lifecycle including secure storage, rotation, and revocation.
Configure and maintain VPN or Zero-Trust Network Access solutions.
Monitor logs and respond to suspicious activity using ELK, CloudWatch, Sentry, or similar.
Draft and maintain security SOPs (onboarding, offboarding, incident response, disaster recovery).
Infrastructure & Device Management
Manage and secure laptops, mobile devices, and IT inventory.
Deploy and maintain MDM solutions for compliance and device security.
Enforce OS patching, antivirus deployment, disk encryption, MFA, and password policies.
Standardize IT procurement with secure configurations.
Server, Cloud & DevOps Operations
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, IAM).
Configure and manage Linux servers, Nginx/Apache, SSL certificates, and reverse proxies.
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
Host and maintain applications (Node.js, PHP, Python).
Automate deployments, background processes, and scaling (PM2, CRON jobs).
Implement infrastructure logging, monitoring, and alerting (CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK).
Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment pipelines and improve system reliability.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Establish and maintain IT & security policies (access control, password management, device usage).
Conduct quarterly compliance audits and present findings.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, regional standards).
Deliver security awareness training on phishing, data protection, and safe practices.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
2-5 years of experience in IT administration, system security, or DevOps engineering.
Proven hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure and IAM.
Strong Linux/Unix & Windows system administration skills.
Experience configuring VPNs, Zero-Trust networks, and MDM solutions.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and automation scripting.
Knowledge of API security and token management.
Proficiency in networking fundamentals (firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, routing).
Experience with logging/monitoring solutions (ELK, CloudWatch, Grafana, Sentry).
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Docker / containerization.
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
Understanding of data protection and compliance frameworks.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCSP are a plus.
