About the role
As an IT Administrator (m/f/d), you will be part of the IT Operations team within the IT department. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all employees in the Bangalore office. You will work alongside highly motivated, technology-driven colleagues in a team with flat hierarchies, allowing you to grow quickly, work with new technologies, and develop professionally in the fields of Security and Infrastructure
Your Responsibilities
Create accounts for new users in Windows Active Directory and Linux
Set up hardware for new employees, including laptops, workstations, and peripherals (keyboards, headsets, monitors)
Prepare and organize workspaces for new employees
Close or disable accounts in Windows Active Directory and Linux during offboarding
Track and collect all equipment from departing employees and return it to storage
Recycle laptops, phones, and peripherals for future use
Manage and track end-user devices in storage (laptops, workstations, monitors, peripherals)
Monitor supply levels and notify the supervisor when new equipment needs to be ordered
Track IT assets using the asset manager in TOPdesk ITSM and maintain accurate inventory records
Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support via the TOPdesk ticketing system, collaborating with 3rd level support when needed
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in on-premise IT support
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Windows 11
3+ years of networking experience
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on mentality and flexibility
High degree of service and customer orientation
Fluent English skills
Beneficial Skills
Linux knowledge (Ubuntu 24.04)
Experience with Puppet or Ansible
Experience with Foreman
Experience with TOPdesk ITSM
Experience with Jamf
