The Head of Testing leads and governs the global testing strategy for Contract Logistics IT, ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of WMS and integrated solutions. This role oversees end-to-end testing services, including automation, performance and load testing, regression, and project support.
You will set global testing standards, manage outsourced testing partners, and align testing capabilities with business needs. Leveraging strong warehouse/3PL operations knowledge and Blue Yonder WMS expertise, you will enable system readiness and operational excellence across 100+ annual implementations.
How you create impact
Testing Strategy & Governance

• Define and implement the global testing strategy for Contract Logistics IT across all service areas (performance, load, automation, regression, manual, and project support).
• Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and SLAs, and maintain ownership of global regression libraries to ensure consistent quality and alignment with system and customer requirements.

Leadership & Vendor Management

• Lead the outsourced/offshore testing centre, driving delivery performance, capability growth, and expertise in warehousing and Blue Yonder WMS.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and implement ramp-up plans for automation, defect reduction, and faster testing cycles.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee testing for global projects from design through hypercare, validating developments and integrations before release.
• Promote performance and load testing to reduce hypercare costs and enhance go-live success. Collaborate with deployment, development, and operations teams for seamless handover and quality assurance

Continuous Improvement

• Use data-driven insights to optimise test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Standardise frameworks, methodologies, and tools across geographies, ensuring testing capabilities evolve with WMS upgrades, automation, and IT transformation initiatives.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in IT testing, quality assurance, or system integration roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.
• Hands-on knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS testing and implementations.
• Warehouse/3PL experience with a strong understanding of logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of performance testing, automation frameworks, and regression management.
• Proven track record in testing leadership roles within Contract Logistics or 3PL environments.
• Ability to work across global geographies, managing complexity and cultural diversity.
